Popular Chinese concept stocks Nio initially rose by 5.4%, New Oriental rose by 2.5%, Yum China and XPeng rose over 1%, Pinduoduo, NetEase, and Alibaba rose up to 0.8%, while Tencent fell by 0.6%, Xiaomi fell by 0.9%, Baidu fell by 1.2%, WeRide fell by 2.4%, and Li Auto fell by 3.6%. Xiaoma Zhixing and Fangduoduo fell over 5%. 
Chinese concept ETFs YINN rose by 1.2%, DRAG rose by 0.4%, while KWEB fell by 0.3%, and CQQQ fell by 1.2%
