
BMW recalls over 330,000 vehicles due to a defect in the starter motor
German car manufacturer BMW announced on Friday that it needs to recall at least 331,000 vehicles due to a defect in the starter motor.
BMW stated that the affected vehicles are mostly models produced between 2015 and 2021, with the issue being that the engine starter may catch fire due to corrosion. Among them, 195,000 are involved in the United States, while 136,000 are in Germany.
The company did not disclose the total number of global recalls or the repair costs
