Elon Musk's $1 trillion compensation plan to be voted on next week; Musk engages in a war of words with consulting firm
Next week, Tesla will hold a shareholder vote on CEO Musk's $1 trillion compensation plan. However, several consulting firms that provide shareholder voting recommendations for institutional investors, such as Glass Lewis and ISS, have publicly opposed this massive compensation plan. This has also sparked a war of words between Musk and them. Musk said, "I have worked hard to build this 'robot army,' only to potentially be ousted from the company because of the utterly stupid recommendations from ISS and Glass Lewis, who know nothing at all."
