Toyota Motor in Japan recalls 99,178 vehicles in Canada

Recently, the Canadian transportation department announced that Toyota Motor Corporation of Japan is recalling 99,178 vehicles in Canada, involving more than 30 models including Lexus. The reason for the recall is that these vehicles have a software issue that may cause the rearview camera to not display properly in certain situations. The Canadian transportation department stated that this recall only affects some vehicles equipped with a panoramic camera monitoring system. Dealers will update the relevant software for customers free of charge for the recalled vehicles. Toyota will notify the affected customers by the end of December this year
