第三轮第四批中央生态环保督察完成反馈

With the approval of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council, as of this afternoon, the third round of the fourth batch of central ecological and environmental protection inspection teams has provided feedback on inspection situations to five provinces: Shanxi, Inner Mongolia, Shandong, Shaanxi, and Ningxia, as well as three central enterprises: China Huaneng Group Co., Ltd., China Datang Corporation Ltd., and State Power Investment Corporation Limited. The inspections have revealed some prominent issues: the problem of blindly launching "high energy consumption and high pollution" projects still exists in some provinces and regions, the effectiveness of ecological protection and governance in some sensitive areas is not yet stable, illegal hunting and trafficking of wild birds are frequent, and the rectification of the "excavating lakes for landscaping" issue is inadequate. There are some prominent problems in the ecological and environmental protection of the Yellow River Basin, the implementation of the "four waters and four determinations" requirements is not in place, and there are shortcomings in the battle against pollution. Some central enterprises have not truly played a leading role in ecological and environmental protection, the main responsibility for ecological and environmental protection is not effectively fulfilled, the institutional mechanisms are imperfect, energy consumption control is inadequate, the elimination of outdated equipment is lagging, and ecological and environmental monitoring data is falsified
